Voters across the European Union head to the polls between 23rd and 26th May to elect 751 MEPs to the European Parliament in what is set to be another trend-setting election in Europe.
Markets will be primarily focused on the potential rise of Eurosceptic parties in the Parliament, a continuation of a recent trend seen in National elections. Meanwhile, in the UK, the vote is likely to be seen by many as a proxy 2nd referendum, with the vote likely to be split between heavily Europhile and heavily Eurosceptic parties.
It’s often the realisation of a long-term goal – to own a second home in the sun or even start an exciting new chapter in your life. Like any property purchase, a lot of work goes into making the dream a reality.
Whether you’re a retiree who’s moved in search of the good life, a holidaymaker who’s bought a place in the sun or a parent with children living abroad you’ll need a way of transferring funds out of the UK.
